The basic law of all that is is pretty simple. Intention + emotions = manifestation.
Yep. I could end this blog post right here, but I will explain a little more. You know that movie The Secret that was popular about a decade ago? Well, this is what it basically spends an hour and a half saying. And you know all this Law of Attraction stuff floating around lately. Same thing. This simple formula is what all these sources are talking about.
And really, it isn’t anything new. We’ve known this for years – for centuries. There are theories that in times of yore – you know during Atlantis or when the Egyptians ruled supreme – that people actually put this theory into practice everyday and we have just simply forgotten it.
That may be the case. I don’t know for sure. But what I do know is that this philosophy and practice has been around for years – it just gets repackaged and rebranded every so often so people can make some more money off of it. Or maybe that is too pessimistic to say it that way. Maybe I should say that it is just repackaged so that people who didn’t understand it previously have an opportunity to understand it now.
My favorite interpretation of this principle is from Seth, the non-corporeal entity who Jane Roberts channeled in the 70s. In his seminal work Seth Speaks he writes “Mental images, accompanied by strong emotions, are blueprints therefore upon which a corresponding physical object, or condition or event, will in your terms appear”. He goes on to say “The intensity of a feeling or thought or mental image is, therefore, the important element in determining its subsequent physical materialization.”
What does this all mean? Those thoughts you are thinking in your head – those daydreams you are having – they all have the potential to manifest into reality. They all have power. What do you think about during your day? Are you imagining scenarios in which your boss gets injured or harmed? Would you still keep thinking those thoughts if you realized that these thoughts could cause your boss to be injured in the future? Do you want that karma on you?
Seth continues to write that “The more intense your imagination and inner experience, therefore, the more important it is that you realize the methods by which this inner experience becomes physically real.” So how about instead of thinking negative thoughts that could harm someone – how about thinking positive thoughts that could do some good?
Now, y’all (I really sound like I’m from the Midwest if I say y’all!!) – I’m about to get political on here. Don’t hate me. Just listen. What kind of thoughts are you thinking toward your political leaders? What kind of words are you using to describe them? Are you using negative or hurtful words? Are you calling a certain individual who is in a great position of power words that are used on a middle school playground?
Remember – these thoughts have power. That emotion you put behind them has power. You are creating the reality that you exist in by using the words and thinking these thoughts. What kind of reality is it that you wish to live?
So, instead of using these bully words and thoughts, how about send some love and peaceful vibes to the people in positions of power? Do you think you could possibly influence the political future by just using the power of passion and your mind? Can you be passionate about love instead of hate?
Some heavy stuff for you to think about here. And, of course, you can also use this formula to get those material objects that you so desire – that is the basics of the law of attraction. Just realize – you may not get them in the time period that you are hoping. You cannot (well – who am I to say you cannot really) manifest a rolex watch within a minute of thinking the thought. What you can do is concentrate on that material desire you have and put a lot of emotion behind it. Really visualize and imagine it. Then, down the line, you may see it suddenly appear in your life.
Don’t trust me – just try it for yourself.
Tried it. Didn’t work.

This is very interesting as the Law of the Universe truly resonates with me. I got into exercising manifestation about a year ago. I started off with praying, saying positive affirmations and using crystals to amplify the energy. I still do this, but what I do now is I write all of the things I want to manifest on pieces of paper and I put them into a box. I call it my God Box. I program the box to help me manifest all of the things inside of it. Things that I wrote down that I wanted to manifest included becoming reiki certified, moving into a bigger home, getting a new job, and paying off my credit card. In a few months, it all came true! After they come true, I thanked God and the Universe for helping me make all of these things happen. Showing gratitude is so important! Then I removed all the things from the box that came true and replaced them with new ones. Manifestation doesn’t happen immediately, it may take one day, 3 months, or even a year. But eventually, it will happen!
