We all want our chakras to be opened and balanced – to be receptive and in good alignment – to just be in a good state.  You may even work on your chakras periodically, making sure that they are open, maybe even getting a chakra reading to see if they are all in working order.

But, what about the chakras of the people you spend a lot of time with.  Those of your partner or your children who you cohabitate with?  The chakras of your bestie who you spend every free moment while not at work with?  That annoying temp who you share a cubicle with? What if I told you that the state of the individual’s chakras that you spend a lot of time with can actually affect your chakras??

We see this most commonly with children.  Some children will start to take on the chakra imbalances of their parents – closing chakras that their parents have closed or opening those that their parents have open.  But, this can go the other way as well.  If a child has a closed chakra, this can affect their parent’s chakras as well.

Why is this?  It is the whole idea of energy resonance. One’s vibrations will affect the other vibration of a similar resonate frequency.  There is a lot of physics and science-y stuff about this.  But basically, one’s vibrations will affect another’s vibrations.

So, what do you do about this???  What if the people you live with have habitually closed chakras?  Well, I’ve got two solutions for you.

First, you can help the other individuals you are around to open up all their chakras.  Of course, they have to be okay and accepting of this idea.  You can do this in a variety of methods, helping them learn about their chakras and practice opening the ones that are habitually closed.

Personally, I like to give my family members energy healing (when they agree to it) to help get their chakras open and functioning.  My hubby tends to have chakras which I call “f*cked” – meaning most will be closed or overactive with only one or two in the proper state.  Giving him energy healing helps align his chakras, at least for a little bit until they fall back into their natural state.

The other option is to change your frequency.  Raise your vibrations to a level where other individual’s vibrations don’t affect you as much.  I’ve found a cool video which explains the science-y part of this one.  Check this out:

So, basically, if you can dramatically alter your vibrations, your frequency, this will help you not be affected by those around as much – like if that annoying temp doesn’t want to hear you talk about your chakras one more time…

Try it out and see how it works!  Look at those around you and see if you have similar chakra issues.  Or maybe your root chakra is continually closing and you can’t figure out a reason.  Is your partner or your child’s root chakra closed? See if one of these methods will help keep your chakras open and looking great!
