Friday Feature Review: The Book of Mastery

This week’s book is The Book of Mastery by Paul Selig.

This is a channeled book where Paul acts as a conduit for a message from an entity not currently incarnated. I have a deep fondness for channeled books and the messages they bring. This channeled book is unique in that the entity purports to work on your energy and vibrations just from reading the book.

This particular book is the first in a three book series. Paul and the entity have previously written three prior books which are said to be the foundational texts to read prior to this series. I have not read these texts, but I have read other entities messages extensively and I felt it easy to understand what was being said and the message that they were delivering.

This book also gives you, the reader, the opportunity to affirm different statements which will then help to raise your vibratory level. I listened to this book on audio which made doing this a little more difficult then if I had the text in front of me, but it was still doable.

Overall, I greatly enjoyed this book and the message it conveys. This book states that it is not trying to make your life easier – it is not a self-help book – instead it is helping to raise your vibration so that you see each situation and person as it really is – the divine manifest. With this kind of work, if you are a cynic and don’t really want to see the world as a beautiful place, you may get angry while reading this text. But that is okay – nothing is wrong with the emotion of anger. This book will help you to see each emotion as valid – to understand that something you label “bad” is actually divine and is in truth.

If you are a spiritual seeker who has been on this path awhile or who has read the foundational texts starting with “I am the Word”, I would highly recommend this book. If you have not read channeled books before I would recommend starting with the first book and making your way up to this one.

This was one of those books that kept popping up and being recommended for me. One that you kind of brush aside at first, but it is persistent until you finally decide to give it a try. You know me, I think that is the divine at work recommending this book – so I took the chance and loved it. I am currently reading the second book in this series “The Book of Truth” and I have preordered the third “The Book of Freedom” which comes out next month.
