Meet the Spirit: Jamal

A large African American man comes through a door.  He is wearing a red American football jersey, he is padded up with all his gear on, just not his helmet.  He has tight cornrows in his hair and they are kept neat, tight against his skin.  He is very tall and appears to have the build of a defensive player – linebacker – if that is a defensive position…

The image of this guide is focused on the upper half of his body, from about his heart level up.

I ask a name we can call, and he says to call him Jamal.

I ask what message he has for us today.  Suddenly, the image of him shrinks from the tall intimidating African American man into a young caucasian female, about six years old, with blonde hair and blue eyes.  Now he says you can call him Jamie.

This message is of oneness.  Jamal and Jamie are the same – as we are all the same.  We are all of essence – of spirit – of soul.  We are all just expressing and experiencing differing aspects of the divine.

Interestingly, the book for Friday’s Feature Review is called Oneness…

Don’t forget that you too were once Jamal – you were once Jamie – as we are also each in and of each other.
