Book Review: Oneness

This week’s book is Oneness by Rasha.  This book is not strictly a channeled book, but instead, Rasha states that she is a “conduit of Divine guidance”.

This book contains the standard information contained in most channeled texts about how to move beyond the dense levels of this energy and assimilate to the higher energies that are infiltrating our environment.  Basically, it is a guidebook on how to make the “ascension” process go smoother and it explains some of the different energetic blocks you may experience and how to work with them.

I’m not going to give you an in-depth description of all that is included in this book but instead just give you a little of my opinion on this book.  Overall, the information feels the same as that included in modern channeled work, only the actual writing is easier to read and much more lyrical.

What do I mean by this? Channeled texts tend to be dense and they feel “otherworldly” – like the entity communicates in English, but it takes a little bit of time to get into the rhythm of the wording and structure.  Oneness is different.  The words “feel” like they are written by a human – a human that is good a writer, but a human nonetheless.

Because of this, I found myself second-guessing some of the advice – especially that surrounding what to eat and where to live.  It seemed a little more specific than entities normally communicate.  Basically, she writes promoting a lenient raw vegan diet and living in a location with low pollution, adequate winds, and clean water.  Most entities I have read do not have this specific of information.

Even with that, however, I really did enjoy this book.  It takes some dedication to work through as it comes in at around 400 pages, but I enjoyed reading a chapter or two a day and really letting the material be absorbed.

The author has also written an explanation of her own spiritual journey and I am interested in reading this – once I finish the other books that have lined up on my shelf.
