Meet the Spirit – Samuel Junior

A larger male spirit walks in.  He seems cartoonish.  He is overweight and tall, but his head seems disproportionately small for his body.  He is wearing jeans and has an orange t-shirt on with a blue baseball cap.  He has short brown hair that sticks out from under the cap.

I ask what his name is and he says, Samuel Junior.

I ask what message he has for us today.  Suddenly, there is a zipper over him which he unzips.  Then a dog dressed in a police uniform steps out from the body.  Hmmm, this is interesting.  The dog looks like a cartoon version of a basset hound with long brown ears and is standing on two feet.  He has a whistle in his teeth and is wearing sunglasses.

I ask Samuel Junior for more information about this message because now I am a little confused – and he says that is the point.  Not everything needs to make sense.  Sometimes things are confusing because you aren’t supposed to understand the message.  Can you just enjoy yourself and the scene of the funny dog wearing a police uniform without trying to figure out what it means?

This is a message to just enjoy life and not try to analyze every aspect.  Sometimes life can seem absurd – but isn’t that exciting!
