Meet the Spirit: Georgia

A spirit is coming forward. She is taking the appearance of a young woman in maybe Victorian England type times. She is wearing a pink dress with a section in the middle which is a rich cream color. The dress looks silk and is one that has a corset underneath and spreads out wide at the bottom. 

This spirit has a very white face, it looks like she has not been in the sun very much and she has a great deal of makeup on to make her appearance look so pale. Her hair is also very pale and is in a high up-do that must go up at least a foot. Maybe that isn’t her real hair…oh, she did’t like that I said that – she gave me a side-eye look and took out her fan and started fanning herself after that comment. 

She says we can call her Georgia. 

I ask what message she has for us today. She shows me an image of her dancing a stylized dance with a man that looks like he is dressed in a military uniform. It feels like we are at a ball or a formal dance of some sort. 

The dance has certain steps that both parties know – she is showing that through this dance – through these steps she is going through – she is able to make a connection with this man – with other individuals at this ball.

Sometimes we might discount the rituals and routines of past generations – but these rituals have their own energy to them – they have developed their own way of connecting that has been cemented throughout the years.

Before throwing away some process that was done in the past – look to see if it works for you – if you can use the energy that has already been built up with it to form your own connection.
