Meet the Spirit – Nathan

A spirit is coming forward. This spirit looks to be busy at work behind a computer screen – only the computer is an older version, one from about twenty years ago. This spirit has a long oval face, black hair that is thinning at the top, and wire-rimmed glasses (I’m starting to think the spirit world keeps re-using these wire-rimmed glasses because I see them so frequently – maybe it is a little reoccurring joke about the physical world…).

This spirit seems to be hard at work typing away and the glow of the computer screen can be seen shining against his face. 

I ask this spirit what we can call him. He wipes his brow, pushes his glasses up on his nose and says we can call him Nathan.

I ask what message he has for us today. He stands up from behind his computer screen, picks up his brown briefcase, and walks out the door. He walks to a picnic bench outside in a small park, opens his briefcase and takes out a sandwich and starts eating.

Pauses, he says, are important in busy days. 

He then finishes his sandwich, shuts his briefcase, then walks back inside to sit behind the computer screen and get back to work.

Hmmm, interesting message there. A spirit of few words – but wise words.

Let us all take a pause in our lives today to just be.
