Meet the Spirit – Chunny

*** The Meet the Spirit series introduces us to a spirit entity each week.  These spirit entities bring forth a message for the audience.  If you would like to get to know your personal spirit guides, please check up my spirit guide reading available through Etsy***

A man is walking forward with a cane. He appears to be a duck billed platypus wearing a top hat and a there piece suit with a purple coat and a monocle. He says we can call him Chunny.

I ask what message be has for us today. He taps the tip of his cane on his black leather shoe. tap. tap. tap. That is the sound of time passing. That is the sound of your heart beat. That is the sound of the world at work. Then he keeps walking forward and leaves the scene.

Next he comes in looking like a white rabbit with multi-colored overalls on. He walks forward. He sniffles his nose a few time like he is sniffing the scene. Then he moves forward.

Now he appears as an old sage. Walking stiffly forward. He says “time is what you make of it. It can be bizarre – it can be out of the ordinary – or it can be what your ancestors have told you it is. You choose. It is your choice whether the platypus exists or the bunny judges you for smelling bad. It is your choice whether you let time run smoothly or if you let it walk away from you. This is about choice. Choose to live your life how you want it or choose to live a life defined by others. That is your choice.”

This was a very interesting message and, after receiving it, I felt like I needed to analyze it some more to see what greater symbolism could be had. First, I wanted to know what the symbolic meaning of a platypus is. According to this website, a platypus is about being who you really are and not caring about what others think of you – it is about “moving at your own personal rhythm” – now I see why this guide took on that image to come forward. This message is about choosing to be yourself instead of what others define you as. It is a message about moving to your own pace, your own “tap.tap.tap”. What a perfect animal to appear as to bring this message across!

Thank you, Chunny, for that message. May blessings be upon you and yours.
